BRIEF BIOS
Julia Wasserchuk
has graduated the Moscow Institute of Modern Arts in year 2000.
In 2001 she has developed and introduced a new course of lectures
and practicum "Paper plastics and introduction to packaging"
and has successful practice in Moscow State University for the
Printing Arts. Packaging design created by her students has been
wining different nominations at the national contest "A
Wind-up Orange" in last four years (2003-2006)". In
2006 they awarded by the prize in the international contest "Student
World Star" in Istanbul. She created design for many music-projects
such as "Portugal Queen of Fado Mariza in Moscow",
collaborate as the designer with major sound-recording companies
in Russia. She is a columnist "Innovations in packaging
design" in "Packaging R&D" magazine (Moscow)".
And works at PhD (dissertation) "Paper plastics in the project
culture of design", which is to be delivered this spring.
Her researches concern plastically and constructive futures of
flat sheet materials and cultural, mental background of flat
materials constructions geometry.
