He was slave in the 19th century. His real name was Francisco Luiz Peixoto, but kindly called Sr.Chico by everybody.
I met him in the middle of the 1970s.
He was a sorcerer, a shaman, and quickly became my master for some years.
He was one of the most brilliant persons I met in my life.
I have said he was my Zen master. And it is true.
In 1979 we both felt it would be our last meeting. I prepared my camera and, in some days, I made a large photographic essay.
